The Angkor Discovery tour has been specifically tailored to let you witness this country's unique cultural heritage in a leisurely and comfortable fashion that ensures nothing of interest is missed. In the space of four days, you will get to see Cambodia's most spectacular historical sights whilst staying in the region's finest hotels.
Perhaps one of the most spectacular temples in the world, Angkor Wat, is your first destination. Constructed in the early 12th century it is considered a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. Inside the walls are covered with carvings and bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology, and over 2000 Asparas Dancers decorate the temple.
Starting with the early Angkor era temples dating to 893 AD you will get to witness the earliest traces of Cambodia's historic religious culture before a trip to the majestic walled city of Angkor Thom. Entering its impressive stone gates and seeing the exuberant carvings all around is one of the finest experiences in the region.
Next, one of the oldest temples, dating back to 967 AD, is also one of the most beautiful. The intricate detailing that surrounds Banteay Srey's walls is a magnificent spectacle that has been preserved in near perfect condition.
The final day of the tour will give you a chance to see the traditional floating village at Lake Tanle Sap, Asia's largest freshwater lake, before a final spot of shopping and the transfer back to the airport, ending what we are sure will be an unforgettable experience.
Day 1 – Arrival in Siem Reap (L,D)
Arrival in Siem Reap International Airport and welcome by our B2B Team then transfer to hotel. Upon arrival the hotel offers you a fruit cocktail and cool towel for refreshment before check in.
We start the day by exploring the fabled temples of Angkor and the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. You will start with a visit to the biggest religious temple in the world - the magnificent Angkor Wat. Built by Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, Angkor Wat is considered a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. Return to hotel for refreshment and enjoy dinner at local cuisine.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2 - Siem Reap (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will depart through the countryside and start with the early Angkor-era temples of the Roluos, the first town created by the kings of Cambodia. Next you will see the splendor of Ba kong temple, built in 881 AD by King Indravarman I, and what remains of the ambitious Lolei temple. In the afternoon you will explore the temples of the Small Circuit. The most famous among these is Ta Prohm, built between the mid 12th to early 13th centuries and is overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground making for a truly memorable site. Your visit will also include Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th Century, and Srah Srang, also known as the 'pool of ablutions then continue to South Gate of Angkor Thom taking the most Traditional Khmer Cultural boat (Angkor Gondola) from Prasat Bei port to enjoy Sunset at Prasat Chrung Temple, alone the Tonle Oum water way you will enjoy with difference bird song which assisting music perform by mix nature leave from Angkor Thom Period. Day 3 - Siem Reap (B,L,D)
After breakfast at the hotel we start to explore the old market (Main market in Town) then continue to visit The Khmer Ceramics Fine Arts Center, This center is an Angkorean Ceramics & fine Arts Revival workshop. This free visit offers you a unique chance in Siem Reap to watch and understand all the stages of Khmer traditional crafts and fine arts making.
Option: Classes Stone Carving, within 2 hours you can create your very own piece of stone carving, no experience required. Our Khmer carver will guide you through the skill, you will chiseling the prestigious stone of Angkor.
Lunch at local cuisine after transfer to Eco-Village resort (200 hectares land) for fishing and relaxing till sunset. Then we enjoy the ox carts around the Eco-Village resort and explore the rice paddies at sunset.
Option: Select a BBQ dinner at the Eco-Village or dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4 - Departure Siem Reap (B)
After breakfast, drive to Lake Tonle Sap where you will have the opportunity to learn about life on the water. Tonle Sap is Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, the size of which quadruples during the wet season. You will board a boat and visit Kampong Phluck to see life in this floating village. There will be given the chance to visit the Artisans D'Angkor workshop to see wood and stone carvings or visit the local markets before transferring to the airport for the departure flight.
