After this, fly to the world heritage town Luang Prabang, the crown jewel of Laos. Luang Prabang is a magical, charming and mystique destination and a must for every traveler.  Discover the fascinating capital Vientiane with its mix of cultures, stunning riverside and French colonial heritage.

Continue your journey and visit Vietnam, one of Southeast Asia's most popular, mysterious and exciting destinations. The vibrant city of Saigon presents an astonishing history, culture and people and the Mekong Delta unravels as one of South East Asia’s natural wonders. Welcomed by Vietnam’s hospitable and friendly people, you will enjoy stunning landscapes, fascinating history and culture and superb Vietnamese cuisine.

Day 1: Phnom Penh - Arrival (L/D)
DSC05911Arrival in Phnom Penh. Warm welcome at Phnom Penh International Airport and then transfer to hotel for check-in and refreshment. After that we start a sightseeing tour of the charming city with the attractions: Independence Monument which commemorates the end of Cambodia ruled by France in 1953 and was built in 1954, National Museum – was constructed in 1917, this museum shows the fascinating Cambodian art and archeology; Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda Palace – so called because of the 5,329 silver tiles that cover the floor - was built in 1892. Visit Wat Phnom - a small hill crowned by an active Wat (pagoda) marks the legendary founding place of the Phnom Penh and visit Central Market – this unique art deco building is a Phnom Penh landmark constructed 1935-1937. Days 2: Phnom Penh - Phnom Chisor - Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
Early departure by road in direction of Phnom Chiso to discover a beautiful temple of the 11th century located on the hill  reached by a long staircase. In addition to the superb temple, you`ll also be impressed by the magnificent view of the panorama of plains, lakes and rice fields.

While descending, you visit the silk weaving village. On the way back you visit "Prasat Neang Khmau", (Black Women) whose history is relative to the temple of Chiso. Continuation to Tonle Bati where there are two temples "Ta Prum and Yeay Peou", you go for a walk the side of the lake and have a picnic lunch. You go back to Phnom Penh and visit the Tuol Tumpoung market, called Russian Market, ideal center for cloths, souvenirs and ancient objects shopping. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Kompong Cham – Kompong Thom (B/L/D)
Morning time -Breakfast in the hotel and then travel by vehicle to Kompong Cham – stop on the way visit to Skun Market known as the tarantulas market (large spiders). Arrival at Kompong Cham province,  sight-seeing trip, visit to Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei (Male and Female hill) and Nokor Bachey Temple (12th century) and then continue to visit the rubber plantation by crossing the bridge. On the road we witness the fresh beautiful landscape and the activity of people’s daily lives before reaching the rubber plantation. Lunch at a local restaurant

Afternoon time- continue trip to Kampong Thom, on the road visit Kuh Nokor temple, built in 10th – 11th century by the king Suryavarman I - on the road stop to visit the Stone Handicrafts.  The craftsmen take the rocks from the Santuk Mountain’s foot to make statues and various figures for house decorations. Arrival at Kampong Thom and transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 4: Kompong Thom – Siem Reap (B/L/D)
IMG 2412Departure through the villages to the pre-Angkorian temples of Sambo Prei Kuh, the ancient capital of Angkor before. Continuation to SIEM REAP, around 147 Km through villages and rice paddies, stop at Kompong Kdei to visit an ancient archaeological bridge of the Angkorian period. Transfer to the hotel for check in. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Morning time- visit the South Gate, Angkor Thom, This Royal city was first built under the reign of Udayadityavarman II in the 11th Century, the famous Bayon Temple –  Mountain temple built by Jayavarman VII is situated in the centre of the city of Angkor Thom. It is a three-tiered pyramid with its entrance facing east. The central shrine is surrounded by 54 towers all crowned by gigantic faces, representing Lokiteshvara but with the features of Jayavarman VII, Baphuon - This temple built by Udayadityarvarman II was the most poorly constructed of all the temples in Angkor. Phimean Akas – this temple constructed late 10th – early 11th century by Jayavarman V. Elephants and Leper King Terraces. The first owes its name to the outstanding depiction of elephants, while the second gets its name from the magnificent sculpture of King Yasovarman, popularly known as the Leper King.

Afternoon time- visit the miraculous "Angkor Wat" built early – mid 12th by King Soryavarman II. The temple is one of the largest monuments to religion ever built and is truly one the wonders of the world. Believed to have been constructed as a temple and mausoleum for King Suryavarman II at the peak of the Khmer empire in the first half of the 12th century, Angkor Wat is probably the best-preserved of the Angkorean temples. We then watch the view by sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight.

Day 6: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Morning time- Discover the Angkor temples in the small circuit: Thommanun with some very nice walled-doors and stylized devata, Chau Say Tevoda, Takeo one of the first to be build out of sandstone, Ta Prohm was a monastery built by Jayavarman VII as a residence for his mother, It has been largely overgrown by the jungle and as you climb through the dilapidated stone structures you see many giant banyan trees growing out of the top of the temple itself, Banteay Kdei, this temple was constructed by Jayavarman VII during the 12th and 13th Centuries ( Citadel of the Cells) used to be a religious monastery, Prasat Kravan with a unique bas-reliefs of bricks and Sras Srang used for ceremonies and royal baths.

IMG 2402Afternoon time- visit Pre Rup temple – this temple was built in the 10th Century by Rajendravarman. Its proportions are perfect, a truly beautiful piece of work, Eastern Mebon used to be in the middle of the waters of the large Oriental Baray that is presently filled with rice-fields, Neak Poan was supposed to be a symbol of the Universe, and Preah Khan built in 1191 according to the tradition on a spot where the king fought a crucial battle against the Cham. Day 7: Siem Reap (B/D)
After breakfast at the hotel continue by car to Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women) about 30 km from Siem Reap town, a magnificent jewel of a temple of pink sandstone and very finely sculpted with a luxuriance of details. Then visit Beung Mealea temple, completely overrun by the jungle this temple keep the mystery and the charm through its the collapsed galleries and ruins. Overnight at Siem Reap.

Day 8: Siem Reap - Departure (B/L)
Excursion on Tonle Sap Lake, visit the floating village, mangrove forest, fresh fish exhibition and discover the activities of people’s daily lives. Come back to visit "Les Artisans D' Angkor – Chantiers Ecole" the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts centre. Then transfer to Siem Reap Airport for flight to Lao LUANG PRABANG.

Day 9:     LUANG PRABANG (L/D)
IMG 3243Meet upon arrival at the airport, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum (formerly the Royal Palace) with its collection of personal artifacts of the Lao Royal Family. Continue to nearby Vat Mai Temple, which was the residence of a Buddhist patriarch before 1975, before climbing Phousi Hill to enjoy the sunset over the city and the Mekong River.
Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 10: LUANG PRABANG / PAK OU / LUANG PRABANG (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit Vat Xieng Thong, regarded as the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang with its magnificent low sweeping roofs. Take a traditional riverboat for a 2-hour cruise up the Mekong River to Pak Ou, at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, to visit the sacred caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phum, home to hundreds of Buddha statues. On the way, stop at Ban Xang Hai village where sticky rice wine is distilled. Return to Luang Prabang and drive to Ban Xang Khong weaving village where traditional mulberry leaf paper is also produced.

Day 11: LUANG PRABANG / KHOUANG SY / LUANG PRABANG    (B/L/D)
After breakfast there is an excursion by road to the picturesque Khouang Sy Waterfalls nestled in lush tropical forest. On the way, visit some hill tribe villages such as the H’Mong village of Ban Thinkeo and the Khmu village of Ban Thapaene. Return to Luang Prabang and visit Vat Visoun Temple, built in the 16th century, with its Singhalese-style stupa, That Makmo, and Vat Aham, one of the city’s major teaching shrines housing the puppets of the Lao ancestors.

Day 12: LUANG PRABANG / VIENTIANE (B/L/D)
IMG 3221After breakfast there is free time until your transfer to the airport to take your flight to Vientiane. Meet upon arrival, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Vat Sisaket, the only original temple in Vientiane (built in 1818 -  it is the sole survivor of a Thai invasion in 1828), the Ho Phrakeo, the former Royal Chapel where an Emerald Buddha dating back to the time of the Lane Xang Kingdom was enshrined, the Patouxai and That Luang stupa.

Day 13: VIENTIANE (B)
After breakfast, free time until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

(Visit Saigon – Chi Chi Tunnel – Mekong Delta)

DAY 14:  SAIGON ARRIVAL – CU CHI TUNNEL (L+D)
IMG 7339Warm welcome by our excellent English speaking guide followed by a visit to the famous Cu Chi Tunnel. Located 60 km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti – American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220 km and is a popular Vietnamese and foreign visitor’s attraction.

The peacefully rural rice paddies scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destinations, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, when Cu Chi was “A Free Target Zone”. The remnants visitors will see show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place.

DAY 15: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA (VISIT MY THO, BEN TRE) (B+L+D)
The first bustling town at the Mekong Delta is My Tho, 84 km from Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) city about 2 hours.
This trip will provide a look at a wide variety of the life and scenery on Vietnam’s river from the peaceful Delta. The huge ship, which come from many different countries moving slowly, quiet along the river is what you will see at the Saigon River when you depart. Do not miss this sight!
On the way, you will see daily activities of local people along the river, sellers and buyers bargaining, exchanging fish, the products that they get from their work on the sea.

Then, hand rowing (sampans) lead us along canals and cruise to the orchard islets where tropical fruits can be found and tasted. Roaming to the village around and observing how people make their living from the coconut trees, collecting honey at local gardens, taste it with lemon and tea while you enjoy The South’s traditional music.

Back to Saigon for dinner. Free time in the evening for exploring Saigon city.

DAY 16: SAIGON – DEPART (B)
