Tours Description

Cambodia is a country with a vast array of activities and sites. While some people may come to view the most esteemed and breathtaking temples in Asia, others are more attracted to its beautiful beaches and clear warm waters.

This tour has been designed to allow visitors to experience the best of all Cambodia's wonders, whether it`s cycling along rural country roads, swimming around some of Asia's finest waters, or trekking in the area's lush forests and jungles.

After this, discover Laos and the fascinating capital Vientiane with its mix of cultures, stunning riverside and French colonial heritage. The world heritage town Luang Prabang, the crown jewel of Laos. Luang Prabang is a magical, charming and mystique destination and a must for every traveler.

Day 1. Siem Reap – Arrival (L/D)
IMG 2478-Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, welcome and transfer to hotel and then according to arrival time, you can visit the handicrafts of the sculpture center « les Artisans d’Angkor », the finest authentic Khmer arts and crafts, stone & wood carving, lacquer ware, furniture making, silk weaving & accessories. Lunch at local restaurant
- In the afternoon, start to visit the temples in the small circuit such as Thommanun with some very nice walled-doors and stylish devata, Chau Say Tevoda, Takeo one of the first to be build out of sandstone, Ta Prohm invaded by the roots of giant banyan trees, Banteay kdei (Citadel of the Cells) used to be a religious monastery, and Sras Srang artificial lake used for ceremonies and royal baths.

Day 2. Siem Reap (B/L/D)
IMG 2396- Morning time- visit the South Gate, Angkor Thom, This Royal city was first built under the reign of Udayadityavarman II in the 11th Century, the famous Bayon Temple – this temple mountain built by Jayavarman VII is situated in the centre of the city of Angkor Thom. It is a three-tiered pyramid with its entrance facing east. The central shrine is surrounded by 54 towers all crowned by gigantic faces, representing Lokiteshvara but with the features of Jayavarman VII, Baphuon. Phimean Akas – this temple constructed late 10th – early 11th century by Jayavarman V.  Elephants and Leper King Terraces. The first owes its name to the outstanding depiction of elephants, while the second gets its name from the magnificent sculpture of King Yasovarman, popularly known as the Leper King.

- In the afternoon we visit the miraculous "Angkor Wat" built early – mid 12th century by King Soryavarman II. The temple is one of the largest monuments to religion ever built and is truly one the wonders of the world. Believed to have been constructed as a temple and mausoleum for King Suryavarman II at the peak of the Khmer empire in the first half of the 12th century, Angkor Wat is probably the best-preserved of the Angkorean temples. The day will finish by watching the view of the sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight.

Day 3. Siem Reap (B/L/D)
IMG 2478- After breakfast, visit to famous  Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women) about 30 km from Siem Reap town, a magnificent jewel of a temple of pink sand stone and very finely sculpted with a luxuriance of details.
- Return to the city and extend your excursion by taking a boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, visit floating Village, mangrove forest and exhibition on fresh fish. Overnight at hotel.



Day 4. Siem Reap - Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
IMG 2680- Morning transfer to airport for flight to Phnom Penh. Welcome and transfer with your guide to the hotel and then tour in Phnom Penh City, capital of Cambodia situated at the conjunction of four branches of the Mekong River “Chaktomuk” , visit Independence  Monument  commemorating the end of Cambodia ruled by France in 1953, Wat Phnom remaining the highest artificial hill in Phnom Penh and the center of many forms of the leisure activities, National Museum displays many artifacts from the Pre-Angkor as well as Angkor Period made of sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood, ceramic

- Afternoon visit Royal Palace, built in 1866 located just opposite the four branches of the Mekong River. The Palace is actually a number of structures within a pagoda-style compound, Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace compound. Besides this name, the Vihear(temple) is better known as Wat Preah Keo Morokot ( the Emerald Buddha Temple). The majority of treasures on display have been supplied by the King of Cambodia as a gift from various countries. Lunch and dinner will be served at a good restaurant in the city.

Day 5. Phnom Penh – Kampong Som (Sihanouk Ville) (B/L/D)
IMG 2478- Transfer with guide by the beautiful national road toward Sihanouk Ville (or Kompong Som), 230 km of Phnom Penh through the villages, the markets and local culture. Sihanouk Ville is a beautiful and charming city bordered to the seaside, 7 beautiful tropical beaches with clear waters and white sand and superb rocky formations. With their refreshing water and calm currents, these beaches are ideal for bathing, sunbathing and taking a well deserved rest after visiting the temples. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free time at the beach. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 6. Sihanouk Ville – REAM (National Park) (B/L/D)
- Full day excursion to the Ream natural park, promenade by boat visiting Mangrove Forest, the bird Sanctuary, pepper and durian Farms and relaxation on the beach. Lunch en route and then return to Sihanouk Ville.  Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 7. Sihanouk Ville – Tres – Chralos & Roeu Sey Island (B/L/D)
cambodia-beach-sihanoukvill- Full day excursion to Kos Roeu Sey Island via Tres and Chralos Island, swimming and discovering coral and water life in the sea. Picnic lunch on the beach of Kos Roeu Sey, relaxing on the beach and return to the hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.




Day 8. Sihanouk Ville – Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
- Transfer to Phnom Penh hotel and free leisure in hotel or shopping by your own.  

Day 9.  Phnom Penh & Departure (B)
- Transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport for flight departure.
- End of services.

LAOS CLASSIC TOUR 6 days / 5 nights

Day 10: VIENTIANE
06-Patuxai-archMeet upon arrival, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Vat Sisaket, the only original temple in Vientiane (built in 1818 - it is the sole survivor of a Thai invasion in 1828), the Ho Phrakeo, the former Royal Chapel where an Emerald Buddha dating back to the time of the Lane Xang Kingdom was enshrined, the Patouxai and That Luang Stupa.  Overnight in Vientiane.



Day 11: VIENTIANE / LUANG PRABANG (B/L/D)
06-Patuxai-archAfter breakfast, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Luang Prabang. Meet upon arrival at the airport, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum (formerly the Royal Palace) with its collection of personal artifacts of the Lao Royal Family. Continue to nearby Vat Mai Temple, which was the residence of a Buddhist patriarch before 1975. Then enjoy the sunset along the Mekong River at Vat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

 

Day 12: LUANG PRABANG / PAK OU / LUANG PRABANG    (B/L/D)
IMG 3480After breakfast, visit Vat Xieng Thong, regarded as the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang with its magnificent low sweeping roofs. Take a traditional riverboat for a 2-hour cruise upstream the Mekong River to Pak Ou, at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, to visit the sacred caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phum, home to hundreds of Buddha statues. On the way, stop at Ban Xang Hai village where sticky rice wine is distilled. Return to Luang Prabang and drive to visit the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong where traditional mulberry leaf paper is also produced. Over night in Luang Prabang.

Day 13: LUANG PRABANG / KHOUANG SY / LUANG PRABANG (B/L/D)
IMG 3223After breakfast, excursion by car to the picturesque Khouang Sy waterfalls nestled in lush tropical forest. On the way, visit some hill tribe villages such as the H’Mong village of Ban Thinkeo, the Khmu village of Ban Thapaene and the Lao Loum village of Ban Xom, known for its cotton production. Return to Luang Prabang and stroll through the H’Mong Market before climbing Phousi Hill to enjoy sunset over the former Royal capital and the Mekong River.  Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 14: LUANG PRABANG / VIENTIANE (B/L/D)
IMG 3480After breakfast, visit Vat Visoun Temple with its Singhalese-style stupa, That Makmo, and Vat Aham, one of the city’s major teaching shrines housing the puppets of the Lao ancestors. Free time until you transfer to the airport for your return flight to Vientiane. On arrival transfer and check-in at your hotel.   Overnight in Vientiane



Day 15: VIENTIANE (B/L/D)
After breakfast, free time until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
